I ran across this beautiful metal smiting work by french artist Esty Grossman.
Esty's work is inspired by sea life which she explore on a daily basis.

Esty has a beautiful studio in France, where she works and sell her pieces

Cane tutorial

Sophie Crystal is showing us how to make this geometrical cane on her blog Cristalline.
There are some more tutorials on Crystal's blog so you should take the time to check it out.

I think I am going to give it a try this weekend. I will post the reasults (if they will turn good).

Flower cane tutorial

Here is a great video tutorial from  Nathalie Duval / Charas.
In this 3 parts tutorial, Nathalie shows us how to make a flower cane from polymer.

Even though it's in french, it is very easy to follow the steps shown on the video.

Miniatures

After watching a demo of making a miniature plants by the lovely Idit Zoota, I took a small break from making jewelry to make this door's signs and it was really fun to make.

Jump rings bracelet

We have learned how to make jumprings and this is what I came up with

This bracelet is made out of 11 brass jump rings which I hammered flat.
